More than 300 attend Club Central Hurstville Gala Opening

It was a spectacular evening of fine food, wine and festivity to mark the grand opening of the $80 million expansion and refurbishment at Club Central Hurstville.

More than 300 guests gathered to celebrate and were transported to a French market with a sumptuous array of food stalls offering fresh seafood, charcuterie, fresh breads, canapes whilst sipping on Chandon Spritz and French beer Kronenbourg 1664.

Roving entertainment from mime artists, an accordionist, violinist and quartet of magicians provided amusement and fun whilst the guests enjoyed the opportunity to sample the delights of the stalls and reconnect after two long years of COVID restrictions.

Moving into the Southern Sydney Event Centre rooms for a sit down dinner and formalities saw the kitchen brigade serve up 300 mouth watering meals.

Undoubtedly a highlight was an exclusive performance by Guy Sebastian. Club Central is proud to announce a $100,000 grant to the Open Parachute mental health program. Open Parachute is supported by the The Sebastian Foundation, established in 2013 by Guy and his wife Jules, and provides a comprehensive mental wellbeing support program for school students. It will enable 3,500 students in the Georges River area to complete the program in 2022.
